This parking ticket, issued in 1954, has been paid in full. An anonymous man found the unpaid citation among his mother’s belongings while cleaning out her home. It appears the woman lived in Oklahoma and was visiting York at the time the ticket was issued in downtown York. The woman’s son decided it was time to make good on the 57-year-old debt, leaving the ticket and payment at the local police department. News-Times / Melanie Wilkinson
